Before the Internet, we had Bulletin Board Systems. I ran a Bulletin Board System on my Commodore 64 back in the late eighties, early nineties. When you ran a BBS you were the Sysop and had complete control. This was a great way to get new games and share your software with other retro computer users. This was one of my greatest joys having a computer in the eighties. One of my users that called my BBS is one of the biggest YouTubers - The 8bit Guy! He use to call my board all the time when he was a kid. Calling a BBS was awesome and reading the post on the message board and checking to see what the latest games were out for my Commodore 64. I started it in April of 1988 and ran it for 4 years. I am showing you how my BBS looked and how you used it back in the 80's. It was all about Warez and being Elite. Take a trip back in time and check out my board, The Temple of Syrinx.
