The number one issues on the Amiga 500 is leaking batteries that can ruin your computer. Today I am going to show hot to remove my Amiga 500 A501 Memory Expansion to see if my battery is leaking. I will then remove the metal casing, take out the battery if needed. Then I will clean the A501 of any mess the leaking caused on the motherboard. Then retest to make sure that I still have 1 meg of memory working on my Amiga 500. Let's go on this journey of owning an Amiga 500 for the first time and repairing an issue I encounter along the way.
